If you remember that the CDO GUIDE made a blog post that there is a “Rumor Ayala Mall Will Rise @ Cagayan de Oro“. It’s now happening to our City of Golden Friendship.

Ayala Land Inc. (ALI) is set to develop a shopping mall in Cagayan de Oro in the fourth quarter as part of the property firm’s expansion program this year.

In a disclosure to the Philippine Stock Exchange (PSE), Jaime Ysmael, ALI chief finance officer, said the company signed a joint venture agreement with Anflo Management and Investment Corp. and Mindanao Motors Corp. for the development of a shopping mall in a 3.2-hectare property along Claro Recto Avenue.

ALI said the initial investment would reach P2.5 billion for the construction of the shopping mall, which would have 40,000 of gross leasable area.

Previously your CDO GUIDE made a blog post regarding Rotating Brownout from March 5-10 2010 that happened in our City of Golden Friendship. The CEPALCO release another schedule for the rotating brownout from March 11-16 2010.

Please find below the load shedding schedule [5 hours DAILY rotating brownouts] within the CEPALCO service area for the period March 11 to March 16, 2010 [Thursday to Tuesday] due to the continuing power supply curtailments imposed by the National Grid Corporation of the Philippines [NGCP] all over Mindanao. Again, CEPALCO would like to caution customers that the actual switch off and switch on time may vary from the announced schedule depending on the actual load curtailment level imposed by NGCP on CEPALCO on a day to day basis.

Panaad 2010 is almost to come and I know that lots of people out there is planning a vacation for this coming holy week especially people who are busy in their work loads, there are 4 days of vacation this coming April including Sunday. So as today your CDO Guide will posting a schedule of Paras Sea Cat. To those people, Barkadas, Family and friends who plan to go to Bohol and Camiguin with short time of travel going there I can suggest used the Paras Sea Cat. Jagna to Camiguin vice versa will take 2 hours only while Jagna to Cagayan de Oro vice versa will take 4 1/2 hours only. We know that Camiguin and Bohol are one of the Tourist Spot in the Philippines which foreigners and tourist will love to visit this beautiful place of ours. As I visit this beautiful spot before, I can see that our country have lots of tourist spots that we need to developed and we need to care the nature what we have right now. Your CDO GUIDE went to Camiguin last weekend to attend a wedding to our friend; this friend is the officemate of Newlydiscover. Around 2 pm we leave Cagayan de Oro and around 4pm we arrived at Binuangan where we will ride a barge going to Camiguin which is a 1 and haft hour travel time. When we arrived Camiguin we go directly to the Fishpen resort where the group will stay and some of our friends are waiting for us on that resort. We are 15 in the group which some of us are so excited because it’s their first time to step Camiguin Island. In the next morning after the wedding the plan is already made on where we go and what tourist spot should the will be visited. Since the group has big number of people, we decided to rent a van and use it to our travel and trips for that particular day.

Here we go; our first destination in our first day is the Katibawasan falls which is one of the popular tourist spot at Camiguin. Tourist visits this place because of the big water fall and the forest looks to virgin, but the weather condition is not good as we expected, it was raining when we arrived at Katibawasan falls. But its okay, what we did in the area is only getting pictures and makes our crazy post together with the falls.

South Korea entrepreneurs would like to invest here in the City of Golden Friendship Cagayan de Oro. I think if this project will be approved in the future, Cagayan de Oro will be the most progress city in the North Mindanao. You would like to know what the Koreans proposed to our city..? They are proposing an impossible but possible project will happened in our city, the Super Highway from Cagayan de Oro City to Davao City short cut land travel for only two (2) hours, Yes!!!!! You read it right for only two hours land travel from the City of Golden friendship to the City of Promise. In this super highway, they “will pass through series of bridges and mountain tunnels.

According to Mayor Jaraula, a group of businessmen from South Korea presented to him their plans during the Christmas holiday break.
