Like in Mindanao there are many nice place where in hidden to some people who is leaving. One example place is MOAP which is located at Ozamiz, Misamis Occidental. The MOAP resort is one of the tourist spot in Ozamiz where you can relax your self, and if you like fishing this is a good place for you.
Some info. on how to go in this place:
To reach Misamis Occidental, there is a daily flight from Manila to Dipolog City and back. Oroquieta, the capital city is only one hour and a half drive from Dipolog.
There is also a full service port in Ozamiz City which offers sea trips from Manila-Ozamiz, Manila-Cebu and back. Fast Crafts and Ferry boats are also available in the ports of Plaridel, and Pulawan, Dapitan City.
If you have big or enough budget you can look for other accommodations? Try the aloha airlines. The airline offers discounts at many hotels. There are similar offers for airline tickets from many motels and travel lodges as well. The tickets are mostly for mesa airlines and the new spirit airline.
