During our stayed at Manila we did not forget to visit the famous place where we can see our National hero, Dr Jose P. Rizal. The place is the Fort Santiago, Intramuros, this is my first time to visit this place and I really appreciate it. The entrance of the gate is modern (I think they develop it well for the tourist to visit).Inside Fort Santiago you see beautiful park and old buildings where they preserved it to make it as a tourist spots in this place. What I like most is the uniform of the security guard at Fort Santiago which is not modern because they are wearing the Guardia Civil uniform and I like it because I feel we are in the area of Spaniards.
Aside of the beautiful inside you can see also the famous transportation that used during the Spanish time the KARTALISA. What I like most also inside the Fort Santiago is the place where our National Hero stayed during he was captured by the Spanish where in we can see the memory of Dr. Jose P. Rizal. All the exhibits inside the building are antiques; you can see books, paintings, sculpture, clothes of Dr. Jose Rizal, and many others. I don’t have word to say because I really enjoy our tour in this day. Here are some pictures during the tour.
I really like the uniform that they have. I think tourist who visit at intramuros also like their uniforms.
We can see how Local Government preserved this buildings for the tourist which is so nice to look at.
After exploring at the garden of Intramuros it is time visit inside the museum of our National Hero Dr. Jose P. Rizal. I’m lucky and happy to visit this place and saw this museum.
The place is so nice, they have a beautiful garden, nice park and a picnic area for the family. I would like to show more pictures but I don’t have any time to edit those photos. But I assure that this place is so nice…
You can see how happy this people after visiting Intramuros..:-)
I think these is the famous transportation during the Spanish time. I’m glad that until now I saw this transportation.:-)
So if you are visiting Manila don’t forget to visit Fort Santiago, Intramuros. You well missed 1/4 of your life.:-)
