Snorkeling @ Balicasag (Day 2 Bohol)

This is our second day stayed at Bohol; our first day is so fun and amazing. We visit the tourist spots of Bohol for only 5-6 hours only and end our day tour in a dinner at Loboc Cruiser.

Our second day tour is at Balicasag Island where we will try their snorkeling area. They said that they have a beautiful area for snorkeling and they assure that you will enjoy your snorkeling experience. So around 6 am our tour guide pitched us in our hotel where we stayed and around 6:30 am we are on our way to Balicasag Island. Before going Balicasag Island we stop over one place for the Dolphin and Whale watching. Yes!! We saw whales and Dolphins at this time, according to our guide the Dolphins that we saw is a Spinner type of Dolphins. We spend an hour for our Dolphin and Whale watching before going to Balicasag Island for our Snorkeling.

I don’t have words to say during our snorkeling at Balicasag Island. Just watch and scan our pictures during our snorkeling experience. We have only few words to say in this experience, we enjoy our tour and snorkeling experience.

Only 2-4 person can ride for the small boat excluding the guide.

Bohol Tour Day 1

Year 2007 our last visit tourist spots of Bohol together with my partner and after 3 years we go back to Bohol to spent our long weekend. Together with friends, love ones, family and friends we decided to visit and explore the beautiful tourist spots of Bohol. We are 14 in the group including 3 kids; we stayed Bohol for 2 nights and 3 days. Around 5:30 am in the morning we arrived Tagbilaran City and around 7 am we pitched by the crew of Dao Diamond where in we will stay. Before we start our tour for that day we enjoyed first the pool of this hotel, the hotel has only one (1) pool but in different levels. We enjoy swimming, chatting and off course the picture picture. After lunch our Tour Guide (Christopher T. Cal) pitched us at the hotel and to start our half day tour.

After enjoying the place and taken some pictures our next destination is the famous church in Bohol, the Baclayon church.

The 3^rd and the next stop is the Bohol Python which is I think the biggest Python that capture in the Philippines. The python has 30 inches body; this was captured in October 21, 1996 with only 5 ft and 5 kls. In year 2005 the height and body of the Python was change into 200 kls and 23 ft. that is how this python improved after 9 years. See some pictures taken for this Python.

After our bone was shaken of the biggest Python that we saw, our next destination is the place were Bohol known for this animal the Tarsier area. It’s nice to see this kind of animal that I think only in the Philippines.

We visited also the Man made Forest of Bohol. We could not imagine how this people made this forest and became a tourist spot and popular.

Chocolate Hills

Your tour in Bohol will not be completed if you will not visit the famous place and also one of the 7 wonders of the world, the Chocolate Hills. It is also one of th Famous Tourist Spots in the Philippines

Loboc Choir

After the 5 tourist spots that we visits, our tour in that day was ended by a dinner at Loboc River Cruiser. The entrance of this place is only 450 Pesos for eat all you can dinner and for River Cruiser plus the choir on the middle of the river which we did not expect and PORMISE we enjoyed it very much. The place was so nice and beautiful, perfect place for lovers, family and friends. When we are floating on the river you can see beautiful lights on the river that was so attractive.

Paras Sea Cat Schedule and Rates Of travel

Panaad 2010 is almost to come and I know that lots of people out there is planning a vacation for this coming holy week especially people who are busy in their work loads, there are 4 days of vacation this coming April including Sunday. So as today your CDO Guide will posting a schedule of Paras Sea Cat. To those people, Barkadas, Family and friends who plan to go to Bohol and Camiguin with short time of travel going there I can suggest used the Paras Sea Cat. Jagna to Camiguin vice versa will take 2 hours only while Jagna to Cagayan de Oro vice versa will take 4 1/2 hours only. We know that Camiguin and Bohol are one of the Tourist Spot in the Philippines which foreigners and tourist will love to visit this beautiful place of ours. As I visit this beautiful spot before, I can see that our country have lots of tourist spots that we need to developed and we need to care the nature what we have right now. Mindanao Bloggers Summit 3 Hosted By CDO Bloggers Group

The Cagayan de Oro Bloggers (CDO Bloggers) group is set to play host to the Mindanao Bloggers Summit 3, which will be held on October 24, 2009. With the theme, “Mindanao: Bag-Uhon Ang Panan-aw,” the MBS 3 aims to uphold the beauty and strength of the island and to expunge the negative notions the world has about it.

(Cagayan de Oro City, Mindanao, Philippines – October 21, 2009) – It’s all systems go for the Cagayan de Oro Bloggers (CDO Bloggers) as they play host to the much-awaited Mindanao Bloggers Summit 3, an annual gathering of Mindanao-based bloggers, IT industry experts, community leaders and new media advocates, on October 24, 2009 at Pearlmont Inn, Limketkai Drive, Cagayan de Oro City. Roughly 300 bloggers are expected to attend this year’s summit.

With the theme, “Mindanao: Bag-Uhon Ang Panan-aw,” (Changing The Way People See Mindanao) the event aims to uphold the beauty and strength of Mindanao, to highlight the diverse cultures and fascinating tourist spots that are uniquely Mindanao and to provide a platform where bloggers and other new media practitioners can discuss concerns related to Mindanao – all with the help of new and emerging technologies.

“Mindanao is the home of everything fascinating or in bloggers’ lingo – bloggable. Through the Mindanao Bloggers Summit 3, it is the hope of the CDO Bloggers, along with our partners and generous sponsors, that we listen to knowledgeable resource persons, meet other Mindanaoan bloggers, share and maximize all of our skills and resources and adopt tried and tested practices that can help us to fully promote Mindanao and for us to become better bloggers as well,” emphasized Chiq Montes, president of CDO Bloggers.

“Of course, we also want all of the participants to have a good time and experience the sights and sounds of Cagayan de Oro,” Montes added.

Montes said that apart from Mindanaoan bloggers, the summit will also see the participation of some bloggers from Luzon and Visayas.

Expected to grace the summit is United States Embassy’s new Deputy Chief of Mission Leslie Bassett, Atty. Adel Tamano, Agusan Lone District Rep. Rodolfo “Ompong” Plaza and Cagayan de Oro City Mayor Tinnex Jaraula.

Considered unprecedented in the Philippine blogosphere, a top ranking United States Embassy dignitary is set to deliver the keynote address. Bassett’s trip to CDO will be her first trip to Mindanao since assuming office in June. She previously served as DCM in Mexico.

“We are deeply honored. We’re certain that the summit participants will be delighted to meet her and we can’t wait for her to see our beautiful city,” Montes said.

Other speakers during the whole-day affair include Cagayan de Oro City Mayor Tinnex Jaraula, Agusan Lone District Rep. Rodolfo “Ompong” Plaza and Atty. Adel Tamano.

Google’s Philippine representative Aileen Apolo, whose talk will focus on beginners, Digital Filipino’s Janette Toral, who will discuss blog advertising and Lyle Santos, who will talk about making money online will also be present. Representatives of other blogger groups including those in Davao City, General Santos City and Zamboanga will also give updates.

After the summit proper, participants have the choice of joining either the city tour (Xavier University Museum, Cathedral, Divine Mercy Shrine, Opol Aviary, Limketkai Mall) or the whitewater rafting adventure.

Also happening on October 24, right after the MBS 3, is the Philippine Blog Awards – Mindanao awarding ceremonies.

My Next Destination in this Year

Will this year is a great year for me. I have many place in my mind that I would like to visit this year, I got 3 places in my list. 1st place in my list the Camiguin island, I would like to experience the white sand of camiguin island. I think by month of april first week that will be the time we will go to Camiguin. The 2nd place is the DAKAK, Our tour in this place will in the month of april also. The 3rd place in my list is the Bohol, we will go back to bohol when in this year, but this time we go with our friends.Our plan is to make a round trip to bohol. Its better to tour first to our own country and explore things in nature to our beloved country. Hopefully by next year we can visit the Boracay which is one of the beautiful place in our country. If we could not visit Boracay by next year hopefully by 2010 we can visit this place:-)
