kaamulang Festival

After the street dancing of the competition of Kaamulan Festival we went to MGM Resort at Dologon Maramag Bukidnon to stayed our overnight. We enjoy the place and off course the food that we bring. Our overnight at MGM Resort will be completed without swimming.(ahahhaha)

The high lights of this trip is in the next morning, if you remember we have a Spring and Pool Hopping at Bukidnon in 1 day but this time we planned to visit the Tourists Spots at Bukidnon where we did not visit yet.

Our first stop is the Maramag Municipal Hall, they have a nice view and attractive place that tourists can say that we will take a picture there. They have a big ground and nice paint color of the municipal hall.

The second stop is The Blue Water Cave which is located at San Jose, Quezon, Bikidnon.  The Blue Water is so nice for refreshing and so nature for trekking and nature exploration.

Our third stop is the Over View Nature and Culture Park which is located at Palacapao, Quezon Bukidnon. We spent our lunch time in this over looking view of Quezon Bukidnon.

We spent 2-3 hours in this place because you well appreciate the view and the mountains that surrounds in this Over View place. It looks like you are in Tagaytay, so cold. We took pictures every angle of the place. This is perfect place to hang out with friends, family, officemates, Barkada, love ones and to those people who have plan for their bonding. Travel time going to this place is 3-4 hours from Maragmag Bukidnon.

There are 5 more tourists spots that we need to visits when we will back to Bukidnon..

Our final and stop is the RockStar Spring Resort which is located also at Maramag Bukidnon. We just stop over in awhile in this spring to refresh our selves before going home to Cagayan de Oro. This spring resort is just new in business, the spring resort is over looking also and you see the Pulangi River in front of this spring resort. This is your CDO Guide enjoying my weekend adventure

The place has 2 flowing pools with deferent levels, 1 for children and 1 for adult. You will enjoy the pool because it’s just like you are in the middle of the jungle which surround by many trees. I really appreciate the ambiance of this area, I can recommend this place to those people who love silence and peaceful in mind.

After getting tired of swimming to there nice and clean pool all of us are now feel hungry so we ordered at there canteen and wwwooowww the price just the same to other resorts that we visit before at Bukidnon and some other Spring Resort. Most of the food that we ordered is good for four (4) persons so that we minimized our expenses during our lunch. We enjoyed the food that they serve on us and we could say during our lunch is that all appreciating the food that they have. I can recommend this place and the food that they have. Thanks to Eblamo Family for the free lunch.

The Obrero Place has boat area where in you can ride their boat (don’t know if it is free or you will pay if you will use this. Sorry for thatJ). They have room for also to those people or group who would like to stay in this place (they not get any room rate because the in-charge is out).

So our plan to have lunch at Club House was postponed but we visit there also and took our snacks and enjoy watching the golf course area. Here our some pictures that are taken in The Obrero Place.

RR family Spring Resort

Our first stop is the RR Family Spring Resort. This place was located at Tubigon, Maramag Bukidnon and it has an entrance of 30 Pesos both adult and children but 2 years old below were free. This resort was open from 7 am to 5 pm and the night swimming will start around 5 pm until 10 pm. They have 4 pools with different levels and the rate of their cottage from 250-600 and it is big already. They have also rooms for those people who would like to stay overnight.

Waig Crystal Resort

The second stop is the Waig Spring Resort; I like this place even though I visited this place for how many times already. This resort located at Purok 8-A, Spring Site, North Poblacion, Maramag, Bukidnon 8714 or you may contact them at (088) 356-1111, 0921-208-6304 and 0915-553-5384.

Luan-Luan Spring

The 3^rd stop is the Luan-Luan Spring which is located at Quezon campo Uno (1). The entrance of this spring is only 10 pesos with 3 difference level of pools.

Lucky 9 Swimming Pool

The 4^th stop is the Lucky 9 Swimming pool. They have 3 pools with different level with the entrance of 20 pesos each.

Edlimar Farm Spring Resort

The 5^th stop is the Edlimar Farm and Spring Resort is located at Brgy. Tubigon, Maramag, Bukidnon and a walking distance to MGM Resort.

MGM Mountain Resort

The final and last stop of our Pool and Spring Resort hopping is the MGM Mountain Resort which we visit this resort also for how many times.

NAPOCOR Canyon Pulangi

We stop over also at NAPOCOR Canyon, Pulangi to take pictures and watch the beautiful nature that we have. Bukidnon was blessed by big mountains and springs that people will stop and will enjoy this gift of god to them.

We spent our Lenten holidays this year at Bukidnon which we discover a new Inn in town which is the Villa Estela Fine Inn located at Sayre Highway Anahawon, Maramag, Bukidnon. I and my partner spent our first night in this Inn together with our friend Ian and his family. Before we went to sleep we decided to have a night swimming at WAIG Crystal Spring Resort which is one of the popular resort in Maramag Bukidnon. The resort have lots of changes in their area, they have already a hanging bridge which people like to used this bridge, aside on this they have already a Zip line which people enjoy it and love to try this one. We enjoy the place and I feel the big changes of this resort. We spent 2-3 hours swimming.

In the next morning after our breakfast since its holy Friday and we feel boring in the Inn where we stayed us decided to visit the Zubiri Zoo which is miles away from the Inn we stay. Unfortunately this Zoo is not yet ready to open in the public because the opening of this Zoo will be on May 31, 2010, we fail our first road trip destination. Instead of going back home to our hotel we decided to go to KIbawe which we enjoy the road trip.:-)

After the road trip we go check out to the Inn at the same day and we went to MGM Resort which we spent our 2^nd night in this resort which located long the National Highway in Dologon, Maramag, Bukidnon. These resorts have 5 pools with different levels and also they have sports facilities. They have also a Bamboo Hall which you can held your party at this area or Birth day, Re-union, Anniversary, Meeting and Conference or other occasions. We enjoy this place during our stay here.

Going home to Cagayan de Oro we stop some place in Bukidnon whic is considering as a tourist spot. The first stop is in Malaybalay the Monastery of Transfiguration which is located at San Jose Malaybalay. And then stop over somewhere in “Mangima” which they have an over view place there. That’s what your CDO Guide did during the Lenten Holidays.:-)

Villa Estela Inn

We spent our Lenten holidays in Bukidnon where we stayed in Villa Estela (Fine Inn). We spent it together with my partner’s friend Ian and his family. Your CDO Guide has trip again in Lenten Holidays, this is a 4 days vacation to all of us especially to people who work very hard and it needs some rest.

We left from Cagayan de Oro at around past noon and arrived in Valencia past 3pm via Rural Transit Bus which cost us P 150/head (aircon non-stop bus) then rode a multicab (P 7/head) to Valencia City proper. From Valencia City proper, we again ride L300 transportation (Valencia to Kibawe route) to Maramag which cost us P 20/head. We stopped by in Villa Estela as this was the only place which was vacant. Most resort in Maramag Bukidnon was fully booked that day like MGM and WAIG.

Tips:

• If you are not familiar with place then try to ask people around you.
• The most safety person when you ask is the police or the security guard.
• Be aware the people surround you.
• And the most important thing is when you ride any public utility try to seat in front so that you can ask to the driver on the exact location. Talk to the driver and friend him.

Villa Estela is located in Sayre Highway Anahawon, Maramag, Bukidnon with contact numbers (088) 356-1057 and 09075229865. This Inn was opened on last November 8, 2008. There room rates were just reasonable and with free breakfast. Their tariff for Single Bed (good for one is P 600), for Matrimonial Bed (good for two) is P 800, Twin Bed (good for two) is P1,000 and for VIP room (good for two) is P1,200. The Inn has amenities and services like air conditioned rooms, hot and cold shower, remote controlled tv, free local calls, 24 hour convenience store, wifi zone, guarded and lighted inn and parking area and they have a LIVE band.

We imagine a bamboo inn in a sulky place surrounded by mountains and smelled with cow’s shit. However, we were shocked as this was a heavenly place for a tourist like us who can’t live without wifi and has great service matched with a clean and highly maintained place with a low cost. The place has also friendly and accommodating staff. This Inn is near to Maramag Municipal Hall.
