All of us are so tired going back to our hotel after the 1^st day of our activity during the Soccsksargen Summer Safari. We need to re-charge for the 2^nd day of our activity which is more adventure, excitement, physical and mental challenges. Day 2 has come and all of us I think are so excited for our travel destination in this day. Our first stop in this day is the Dolores Farm Resort which is our breakfast sponsor for this day and it was located at Polomok South Cotabato. This resort is not just an ordinary resort compare to other, why? Because inside this resort they a mini Zoo which you will enjoy the animals that they have, aside on this the resort have facilities also Hotel Arancillo, Kradumthong Function Hall, Kanyao Swimming Pool with deferent levels, Chanee Restaurant and Monthong Game Fishing. After breakfast we explore and take pictures in this resort which the resort has a wonderful place.

Around 9 – 10 am we went to Lake Sebu 7 Falls to try their Zip line which is you can see below are the falls and the virgin forest which I will not be tired to repeat this zip line although even its to far from the main camp. We are the type of people who are willing to try and explore the adventure that we encounter because you could not buy the experience and the happiness to experience this adventure. I previously try many times in Zip line and every time I Zip I enjoy it. Aside on the 7 falls amazing big mountains surrounds this lake and it has a beautiful and virgin forest. One the most unforgettable experience that I have in Zip line is when I try the Asia’s Longest Dual Cable Zip line which is located at somewhere in Bukidnon.

The next stop is the Punta Isla Lake Resort which our sponsor also during the lunch time of the bloggers. I love the location area of Punta Isla because they are over looking and in front of this Isla are the beautiful and clean Lake. The business of this resort was started last 1998 and it was develop and know in the public around 2008. Punta Isla Lake Resort is 12 years in business and I believe that if they continue their good service in their costumer they will know around the world and soon they will become one of the tourist spots in Mindanao.

After the yummy and delicious that we ate in our lunch, snacks is the next (hahahha.!!!) but this time Rolee Bakeshop is our sponsor. Seems that the people are not yet full we went to Merl Garden Spring Resort for merienda and a tour around the resort (after lunch 2 snacks are followed..hahahha). So after a series of eating we stop by at Sabalai Bistro which is our sponsor for the coffee and tea.

Soccsksargen Summer Safari

CDO Guide and my partner together with the CDO Bloggers Organization have a long trip this coming weekend, YES!!! Long land trip and it takes almost 10 hours for the land trip. Our land trip route this coming weekend is Cagayan de Oro – Davao – Gen San – CDO, this the first time where Cagayan de Oro, Davao, Soccsksargen bloggers will get together in one of the big event that is first time will happened in Mindanao and that is the Mindanao Food Appreciation Tour (MFAT), food is freeJ.

Our itinerary is this, CDO Bloggers will leave Cagayan de Oro on May 28, 2010 around 11pm going to Davao which is 5 – 6 hours road trip and hopefully we will arrive at Davao approximately 6 – 7 in the morning on May 29, 2010 Saturday then we will meet the Davao Bloggers then will have a breakfast together with them. After the breakfast, at 2 pm in the afternoon CDO Bloggers and the Davao Bloggers will leave Davao for a road trip again going to Gen San on the same day where CDO Bloggers arrive.

It is a 3 – 4 hours land trip going to Gen San and our target is that, we will arrive in Gen San around 5 -6 in the afternoon (evening). After we arrive at Gen San we will now meet the Socsargen Bloggers and of course after to meet them we will have a dinner together with Soccsksargen Bloggers and Davao Bloggers and we will spend 2 nights in Gen San. On Sunday May 30, 2010 is the whole day activities of the bloggers, the Socsargen Bloggers will tour us in Lake Sebu and also the tour will not be completed if will not try there Zip line. It’s 6 am to 7 pm activity (wwooowwww), I already imagine how tired we are after this activityJ.. And in our finale, Monday May 31, 2010 will have a half day activity and we will leave Gen San around 1 in the afternoon. This is one of my best tours happened in this year, your CDO Guide will update you and will upload pictures as many as I canJ.

With the theme, “Mindanao: Bag-Uhon Ang Panan-aw,” the MBS 3 aims to uphold the beauty and strength of the island and to expunge the negative notions the world has about it.

(Cagayan de Oro City, Mindanao, Philippines – October 21, 2009) – It’s all systems go for the Cagayan de Oro Bloggers (CDO Bloggers) as they play host to the much-awaited Mindanao Bloggers Summit 3, an annual gathering of Mindanao-based bloggers, IT industry experts, community leaders and new media advocates, on October 24, 2009 at Pearlmont Inn, Limketkai Drive, Cagayan de Oro City. Roughly 300 bloggers are expected to attend this year’s summit.

With the theme, “Mindanao: Bag-Uhon Ang Panan-aw,” (Changing The Way People See Mindanao) the event aims to uphold the beauty and strength of Mindanao, to highlight the diverse cultures and fascinating tourist spots that are uniquely Mindanao and to provide a platform where bloggers and other new media practitioners can discuss concerns related to Mindanao – all with the help of new and emerging technologies.

“Mindanao is the home of everything fascinating or in bloggers’ lingo – bloggable. Through the Mindanao Bloggers Summit 3, it is the hope of the CDO Bloggers, along with our partners and generous sponsors, that we listen to knowledgeable resource persons, meet other Mindanaoan bloggers, share and maximize all of our skills and resources and adopt tried and tested practices that can help us to fully promote Mindanao and for us to become better bloggers as well,” emphasized Chiq Montes, president of CDO Bloggers.

“Of course, we also want all of the participants to have a good time and experience the sights and sounds of Cagayan de Oro,” Montes added.

Montes said that apart from Mindanaoan bloggers, the summit will also see the participation of some bloggers from Luzon and Visayas.

Expected to grace the summit is United States Embassy’s new Deputy Chief of Mission Leslie Bassett, Atty. Adel Tamano, Agusan Lone District Rep. Rodolfo “Ompong” Plaza and Cagayan de Oro City Mayor Tinnex Jaraula.

Considered unprecedented in the Philippine blogosphere, a top ranking United States Embassy dignitary is set to deliver the keynote address. Bassett’s trip to CDO will be her first trip to Mindanao since assuming office in June. She previously served as DCM in Mexico.

“We are deeply honored. We’re certain that the summit participants will be delighted to meet her and we can’t wait for her to see our beautiful city,” Montes said.

Other speakers during the whole-day affair include Cagayan de Oro City Mayor Tinnex Jaraula, Agusan Lone District Rep. Rodolfo “Ompong” Plaza and Atty. Adel Tamano.

Google’s Philippine representative Aileen Apolo, whose talk will focus on beginners, Digital Filipino’s Janette Toral, who will discuss blog advertising and Lyle Santos, who will talk about making money online will also be present. Representatives of other blogger groups including those in Davao City, General Santos City and Zamboanga will also give updates.

After the summit proper, participants have the choice of joining either the city tour (Xavier University Museum, Cathedral, Divine Mercy Shrine, Opol Aviary, Limketkai Mall) or the whitewater rafting adventure.

Also happening on October 24, right after the MBS 3, is the Philippine Blog Awards – Mindanao awarding ceremonies.

As I search in the net, there are lots of bloggers already who blog about Mindanao Bloggers Summit 3 (and register) which is held at Cagayan de Oro City and it was hosted by the CDO BLOGGERS Inc. These are my reasons why I would like to join this event in this coming October 24, 2009.

1. I’m sure that this event I will meet new friends of bloggers and I know they will excited also to meet other bloggers.
2. I heard that during the Mindanao Bloggers Summit, CDO Bloggers will given away Nokia cell phones, Havaianas and many more… (wwoooww, how I wish I can get one..:-)).
3. I’m so excited also for those bloggers who will receive awards for the Philippine Blog Awards which is held also at this same day and that was after MBS3.
4. The most exciting is the 2^nd day because of the adventures that I will expect. If you are an adventurous person then you can try their White Water Rafting or if afraid the on water you can go with the City Tour.

I know lots of bloggers wonder why they pay for this event; the answer of this question is in the #4. Paying 1000 pesos for the rafting is so cheaper compare to the regular price that you will pay and also 500 pesos. For me paying 500 or 1000 pesos is nothing because I know I will surely enjoy this event and I know I can find way to get this money back. They said that “Kong gusto ay may paraan at kakayanin at kong ayaw may dahilan”. So what you are waiting now guys sign up to the registration form and CDO BLOGGERS are waiting for you.:-) So think guys this is once a year event and every year you will meet new friends in the world of blogging..
