Here we go; our first destination in our first day is the Katibawasan falls which is one of the popular tourist spot at Camiguin. Tourist visits this place because of the big water fall and the forest looks to virgin, but the weather condition is not good as we expected, it was raining when we arrived at Katibawasan falls. But its okay, what we did in the area is only getting pictures and makes our crazy post together with the falls.

Since we could not swim to Katibawasan falls we decided to go to White Island although the weather condition is not good. The island is so quit because we are the only group in the Island; the water was so nice quit. But when we are in the island the weather condition was change.:-)

After enjoying at White Island, our next destination is the Ardent (hot spring). We stay and enjoy the place for almost 3 hours. I feel relax in this spring because of the water is so warm, there are lots of groups in this spring who enjoy also including foreigners and some tourist.

The next day before leaving Camiguin we decided to go another Island and that is the Mantigue Island. Going to Mantigue Island you need to rent a boat for only P550 to across the beach. The Island has a white sand, nice view to look at, clean water and in front of this Island are the big mountain of Camiguin. There are lots of things you can do in this Island, you can do snorkeling by renting their gear, visit and watch the sanctuary area and enter the turtle forest. By the way the van we rent in our tour is only P2, 500 in whole day, from 6am in the morning to 9 pm. View our some pictures..:-)

For our second day at Camiguin our destinations are walkway which is we walk from Mambajao going to walk around 5:00 o’clock in the morning. Our walk is almost 2 hours including our rest, around 6:30 we reach the walkway and then we start. Around 10 o’clock we are done in walkway. Our next destination is the Sto. Nino Cold Spring which is a few kilometers away from walkway. We took our lunch at Sto. Nino cold spring but sad to say we did not enjoy the place because it so crowded, so the group decided to transfer at Soda Spring which is near to Sto. Nino and I’m happy that we enjoy the place and the water. After enjoying the place we visit the Old Church and off course the Sunken Cemetery. Take a look our some pictures.

Through the help of Paras Sea Cat we arrived at Camiguin almost 10:00 am. We decided to ride the Paras Sea Cat as our transportation for some reasons, 1^st is, we would like to arrived at Camiguin as early as we can, 2^nd we avoid the crowded place. The fare of Paras Sea Cat is 400 pesos only which is affordable; the travel hour of Paras Sea Cat from Cagayan de Oro to Camiguin is only 2 hours which is okay than we will ride a barge. After we arrived at Camiguin we go directly to High Land Resort for our reservation and we stay a couple of hours only.

We swim their swimming pool, eat their food and enjoy the natures around the resort. I can recommend this resort for those people who are nature lover and to those people who would like peace of mind. One thing and the most important thing to me which is I can’t recommend to you guys if you will stay at High Land resort is the food. We did not like the food and the way they serve their customers, that is the only things that we observe in this place. After enjoying there pool we visit next the Katibawasan Falls which is one of the popular falls in Camiguin, we enjoy the water which is very cold and relaxing. I think this place is a virgin forest because you can’t that the surroundings are so green and clean.

After enjoying the cold and nice nature of Katibawasan falls, our next destination is the hot water which is the Hot Spring Ardent. We spent 2-3 hours in this spring which is we enjoy. After our trip we go back to High Land Resort to get our things and we stay near Paras Resort because our destination in the next day will be near in that place.
